Dealing with Criminal Offences in the Workplace Workshop !! A Success!!

CEO, managers and supervisors from 10 different organisations within the private and public sector, were sensitized about how to deal with criminal offences in the workplace. The presenters identified the various types of criminal offences that are popular in the Jamaican workplace and identified strategies that may be utilised to eliminate these infractions. Several IDT cases were utilised in group activities to identify errors that are often made by management, when dealing with these offences. Ms. Cardina Clarke (Llb) perused the Larceny Act and its relevance to the workplace along with the responsibilities of management. The were also several presentations on theLRIDA and the Labour Code in regards to importance to enforcing disciplinary measures to reduce criminality.
